Intro to TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises)
Curious about TRE®? This small-group, 75-minute class introduces you to this powerful, body-based practice designed to release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma.
What is TRE®?
TRE® is a series of simple exercises, similar to yoga, that help activate the body's natural shaking mechanism—also known as neurogenic tremors. These gentle, involuntary movements support the release of stored stress and tension, helping to regulate the nervous system. The practice begins with seven preparatory exercises to stretch and relax tight muscles, allowing your body to safely access its natural shaking response.
In this class, you’ll:
Learn about TRE®: who discovered it & the history
Reintroduce neurogenic tremoring to your body in a safe, supportive environment
Walk away with a powerful self-regulation tool for nervous system healthWhy TRE®?
Shaking is an innate ability in all mammals (think of a dog after a stressful event), yet humans have been conditioned to suppress it. TRE® helps restore this natural mechanism, expanding your window of tolerance—meaning fewer triggers, faster recovery from stress, and greater overall resilience.
TRE® can support:
Stress, anxiety & overwhelm
Chronic pain, tension & injuries
Burnout, insomnia & PTSD symptoms
Hypervigilance & emotional regulation Class is limited to 5 new shakers - experienced shakers are welcomed! Secure your spot today!
